Contract Administrator Fixed Term Contract

Location: Colchester, Essex

Salary: £22,284 per annum

Full Time, Fixed Term (12 months)

 

Joining is as a Contract Administrator, you will be responsible for providing a comprehensive Contract Administration service from inception to completion and handover, ensuring all information and documentation is maintained for financial control of housing refurbishment contracts.

You must own and take responsibility for the effective and efficient administration of contract management activities, liaising with all stakeholders to ensure communication and governance processes, payment, performance and benefit realisation monitoring, and the initiation of remedial/improvement activities are executed properly.

We are looking for an individual with a good understanding of the management of contractors who can demonstrate a strong customer focus to deliver timely services.With good oral and written communication skills and the ability to form relationships with a variety of stakeholders, you must have excellent IT skills and be able to maintain accurate and up to date records and logs.Any knowledge of CDM regulations would be beneficial.

Property Compliance Officer x2

Location: Colchester, Essex

Salary: £25,868 per annum + £1,800 car allowance

Full Time, Permanent 

 

We currently have two opportunities available for experienced Property Compliance Officers to join us to manage maintenance programmes as required to ensure Colne’s buildings and estates are operated in a safe and efficient manner, and are maintained to the highest possible standards.

Maintaining Health and Safety requirementsin accordance with policies and the site-specific risk assessments by carrying out regular site inspections, involving residents in the process, you must ensure that estates are clean, tidy and well-maintained by working flexibly to provide cover across all the areas we manage; managing the void key end to end process to ensure the void properties are ready promptly, and any areas for action are identified.

Candidates for this role must hold or be prepared to undertake appropriate training/qualifications in Asbestos Inspection/DDA Auditing/ Fire Risk Assessment/Party Wall work as required and hold a current driving licence and have access to a vehicle.With an understanding of landlord and tenant legislation and best practice and the use of the NHF schedule of rates, you must have experience of working to tight deadlines and working unsupervised to a high quality.A health and safety qualification appropriate to the role would be beneficial.

Anti-Social Behaviour (ASB) Officer

Location: Colchester, Essex

Salary: £26,146 per annum + £1,800 car allowance

Full Time, Permanent

 

Providing a highly customer focused service for our customers regardless of tenure, the Anti-Social Behaviour (ASB) Officer will carry out ASB case management, monitoring and progression in line with support needs through the collection of evidence, liaison with residents and the alleged perpetrator along with working with key stakeholders and partners

You will have proven effective customer liaison skills as well as being able to lead the process by maintaining regular contact with victims. You must work within agreed procedural guidelines to escalate cases and prepare legal documentation for taking cases to Court as required; liaising with solicitors once any case has been reviewed by the Tenancy Sustainment Manager

Administering and reviewing the cautionary contact register reporting any safeguarding concerns and developing strong links to the tenancy sustainment team, external agencies and partners will also be essential elements of the role.

Candidates for this role must have experience of delivering high quality customer service on the telephone and in person and an understanding of landlord and tenant legislation and best practice especially around ASB.With a background of progressing and managing anti-social behaviour complaints effectively, you will have excellent communication and case management skills and the ability to engage residents and communities in an effective way.

We currently have two new opportunities available for customer focused, friendly and effective front line Contact Centre Advisors to join us to provide a transforming digital, customer focused, friendly and effective front line service through all communication routes.

Enquiries will include rent enquiries/payments, basic housing management advice, allocations enquiries and basic permissions and much more! You will act as a champion to promote behaviour change with customers to promote a channel shift to online services and enable first call resolution; promoting digital methods of payment to customers and taking responsibility for the incoming emails into the organisation

To be successful in these roles, candidates should have an understanding and previous experience of working within a contact centre environment dealing with a range of methods of contact including social media, telephony and email. Able to provide a front facing customer service to a high standard, you will be accustomed to working in a busy environment, managing a number of conflicting priorities on your own initiative and with a team to ensure that the aims and objectives of the business are met.
