More than bricks and Mortar
The Society owns and manages a wide range of accommodation, from houses and flats for rent to single people and families, to specialist housing for older people and people with learning difficulties. We also manage nearly 200 leasehold properties, the majority of which are retirement housing schemes. We are also a key provider of temporary accommodation, most notably through leasing schemes on Colchester's Army Estate, and more recently with private property owners.
All our homes are within an hours drive from our office. They are mostly in the Colchester, Tendring and Maldon districts, covering the towns of Maldon and Heybridge, Colchester, Manningtree, Harwich, Dovercourt and Clacton, and fourteen other villages. We also have properties in South Woodham Ferrers.
All properties we have vacant in the Colchester area will now be offered via 'HomeChoice'. This is a partnership between Colchester Borough Council and local housing associations. For more information and to view the properties vacant please visit "HomeChoice"
The Society no longer holds its own waiting list, with the exception of sheltered housing.
