Leasehold retirement housing
Colne manages four leasehold retirement schemes, these contain a mixture of apartments and bungalows for people aged 55 and over. The schemes are in Colchester, Manningtree and Clacton on Sea.
Some have a residential scheme officer, and all benefit from a 24 hour emergency alarm system so if you need to summon help you can do so easily.
Residents have use of the communal facilities such as a lounge, laundry room and gardens.
With leasehold properties you are responsible for the maintenance and decoration inside your home., Colne is responsible for maintaining the communal areas and services.
You will pay a monthly service charge towards the cost of this maintenance.
Right to Buy or Acquire schemes
