The Society owns and manages a wide range of accommodation, including:

• houses and flats for rent to individuals and families
• sheltered and supported housing for older people, young parents and people with learning and physical disabilities
• leasehold properties, many of which are retirement housing schemes
• temporary accommodation & rural housing
• homebuy and intermediate rent schemes

Locations

All of our homes are within an hour's drive of our office. The majority are in the towns of Maldon, Heybridge, Colchester, Manningtree, Harwich, Dovercourt, Clacton, Southminster, Great Corrnard, and surrounding villages. We also have properties in South Woodham Ferrers.

Vacant Properties

The majority of the properties we have vacant in the Colchester, Braintree, Babergh and Maldon areas are now offered through Gateway to HomeChoice, a partnership between Councils and local housing associations. For more information and to view the properties available, please visit HomeChoice.

Waiting List

The Society no longer holds its own waiting list for general housing, although we do hold a transfer list for existing tenants who need to move home. We still hold waiting lists for sheltered housing and almshouse schemes. Please contact our Customer Services Team if you wish to apply.
