Intermediate rented schemes

Colne Housing occasionally has properties for rent under this scheme, which is designed to assist people with affordable housing, who are not in a position to buy and do not qualify for rented properties under the usual schemes.

The rent is payable monthly and is subsidised to approximately 80% of the local market rent. One months deposit is required and applicants must be in full employment.

Properties are advertised through Gateway to Homechoice and also Homebuy. The Society has intermediate rented properties in Colchester, Mayland, Great Cornard and occasionally other areas on Essex and Suffolk.
