Applying for Housing, Transfer or Mutual Exchange

Although Colne Housing Society manages over 2000 properties across Essex, on average we only let 2 or 3 properties a week. The majority of our homes are let to people nominated by their local council. We only accept applications for our waiting list from people looking for sheltered accommodation, who are over 55 and retired from their main job of employment.

We also process transfers for tenants who want to exchange their homes with someone else within the Colne Housing Society, and mutual exchanges for those who want to trade homes with someone from another housing society.
