Welcome to Colne Housing Society
Colne Housing Society is a charitable housing association. We were established in 1973, and now own or manage almost 2000 affordable homes throughout North Essex.
We aim to provide excellent homes and services to our residents, and to make a positive difference to the neighbourhoods in which we work. We provide homes for families, couples and single people. In addition, we have six sheltered housing and one very sheltered housing schemes and 80 bedspaces for vulnerable clients. We provide direct management support to tenants with learning difficulties and operate floating support services for our own tenants and those of other social landlords.
The Society’s commercial division ’Colne Solutions’ offers the Society’s expertise and services to other housing associations, developers, businesses and charities. Services offered include property management, residential lettings, private sector leasing and payroll and financial support services.
